Monthly Writing Workshops
When women sit at a table together and write, something magical happens.
Words that once felt stuck begin to flow. Stories that seemed too small suddenly hold deep meaning. And voices — sometimes hesitant at first — grow stronger, bolder, and more unapologetically true.
This is more than just a writing workshop. It’s a space to show up as you are, put pen to paper, and discover the magic of your own words. Whether you journal for yourself, dream of writing a book, or simply want to reconnect with your creativity, you belong here. And with six of us max, it’s cozy, real, and deeply connecting.
So, join me for an intimate, supportive gathering where we write, share, and build the courage to tell our stories — messy, beautiful, and entirely our own.
When: (SUMMER DATES TBD)
Who: ALL levels of writers welcome

🔥 Courage to Share: Move past the fear of judgment, rejection, or self-doubt and find confidence to own your story.
🤝 A Supportive Writing Community: Writing doesn’t have to be a solo journey. You’ll connect with like-minded women who uplift, encourage, and remind you that your words matter.
🚀 Momentum to Keep Going: Walk away feeling recharged, inspired, and ready to say YES to writing that is messy, beautiful, and unapologetically yours.

Here is just some of what the ladies have been saying:
“I didn't think I was a writer, but turns out I am.”
“I thought this would feel uncomfortable, since I feel so rusty at writing in this way. But it actually feels like accessing a simpler time.”
“The first call was great. All the women are super awesome. I want to read everyone’s book. I also realized how little I have to be scared about within the group.”
“I actually want to write a book after all. I could never figure out the ‘putting it all together’ but have a pretty good idea what I want to do!”
“Best part of my week! This couldn’t have come at a better time.”
“I had no idea how much I needed this.”
And here’s what some of the recent in-person workshop attendees have said:
“I recently attended a writing workshop organized and led by Brit. It was incredible! We've been in close touch for years and she has been a #1 advocate for me telling my very personal story. Her gentle nudges and encouragement have been instrumental in keeping the fire alive for me to take this next step. The session wasn't clinical but organized in a way to open our hearts and minds to translate our thoughts and feelings into written words. As we shared, what could be very vulnerable felt very safe and reassuring. We laughed, we cried, we connected.
We left as friends, all with tools and enthusiasm about how to allow the words from our inner voices flow into the greater world. I highly recommend joining a workshop or her ongoing groups if you have stories to tell and don't know where to start. I cannot wait to see Brit and the other attendees again - we truly connected and THAT is where Brit shines the brightest! Her gift of building community to help us all achieve our own individual goals is unmatched.”
—Alicia Alexander
“If you’re looking for community, incredible women, and an opportunity to put it all out there (but especially on the page) I couldn’t recommend Brit’s writing workshop more. Nurturing and connection are the name of the game, and Brit leads with compassion and ferocity that will truly help you bring out all the beauty you have waiting under the surface. 12/10.”
—Shelly Das
I loved everything about the writing workshop! Brit created such a warm and welcoming environment, one where strangers felt like friends almost immediately. I met an inspiring group of women who honored each other’s unique stories and voices. We all were writing something different, but as we read out loud and discussed our ideas, we found so many points in common and shared even more about ourselves than we had written initially. I especially appreciated everyone’s encouraging feedback, and I’m looking forward to attending more in the future! The notebook was also a thoughtful touch too. Thank you, Brit!

She what happens when women get together and write, share, and encourage one another? The impossible becomes possible.
Okay.
So…
Have we met, yet? I’m Brit!
I’m a story coach, author, speaker, and event producer.
Although my 22-year career has had many destinations — music venues, magazines, newspapers, websites, startups, flower shops, and golf courses — it’s all been centered around one theme: connection. Whether it be through words, people, or moments:
I connect others to their own courage.
Not only have I empowered hundreds of businesses with their marketing, copywriting, and community building, but I’ve also mentored thousands on their writing and personal goals. I’ve spoken to mom groups on self-care, led productivity workshops at companies like lululemon and KPMG, and even presented at Visa on vulnerability.
Now, I want to help you find the courage to tell your story.
Whether you’re just starting or deep into your writing journey, my workshops are a space to explore, experiment, and finally say YES to your voice. You don’t have to be a “perfect” writer to have a story worth telling — what matters is that it’s yours.
I hope to see you at that table soon.
Or if you ever want to schedule a call or coffee, don’t hesitate to reach out!
