✒️ March Prompt 1: Tale of a Detail
Choose one tiny detail from a story that feels too big, and let that be your way in
Ahhhhhhh. Do you smell that? It’s the scent of a fresh, clean month. Welcome, March. We like you. We can’t wait to write allll up in you. And before we dig into exactly *what* we’ll be writing this week, some biz:
Facebook it is!
While the Voxer group will remain open for voice texts, quick questions, or for those who aren’t on Facebook, we decided on the call on Saturday that the central hub will be the Facebook group. As of now, it’s the best for what we’re doing here.
New Section: Your Stories
I will start putting everyone’s writing from the week into these emails. You’ll find them all in their own section at the end. They will always follow a paywall, as I want to honor your privacy in this very tender creation phase!
And. I just gotta say: Everything — I mean everything — y’all wrote in February was amazing. You are ARTISTS!!! I can’t tell you enough how honored I am to be on this journey with you.
It’s also really cool to see everyone’s writing compiled here, too. It’s like you all have a column of sorts. Maybe we could explore custom names and headers for your special section, ehhh?? Think about it. :)
Next Speakeasy
Save the date for Saturday, March 29! And thanks to some amazing ideas from Jodi, with this next one, we’ll start off with a mini writing prompt! We’ll also bring a favorite piece from the month and share the story behind the story. More on that as it gets closer.
Prompt WINNER!
Congrats to AnaGloria!! 🎉🎉🎉
You are the winner of this month’s prize: a signed copy of my book Mama Be Present OR Think Remarkable by Guy Kawasaki. Your choice! Lemme know!
