Well, hi!
It’s already that time again??? Whaaat?! I feel like I think that every week.
And within the last few weeks, I’m thinking yet another thing:
This is getting harder.
The digging is getting deeper.
The emotional lifting is getting heavier.
One of you even texted saying, “This is starting to feel like work and not fun.”
I can’t help but agree. I’m mildly dreading doing the work. I’ve been ignoring my list of things I invited myself to write about — all while wondering if I’ve made a mistake with moving us to Voxer for a bit.
But this tension…
This resistance…
This pivotal point we’re hitting…
This is goooood. This is where growth happens.
Writing isn’t always fun in the moment, but the freedom, clarity, and confidence we gain from it? That’s worth it.
And although the recent change to creating your own personal prompts, testing out Voxer, exploring Substack, and starting Google Docs may feel uncomfortable, I promise you — that discomfort is a sign of progress. Any stuck-ness you’re feeling means you’re that much closer to clarity.
But first? Biz:
Prompt Crushers
Big applause to those who did the first two prompts. These new steps aren’t easy, but you’re paving the way for us. Your courage is contagious.

Remember: If you complete all four prompts this month, your name will be tossed into a hat for a signed copy of my book Mama Be Present OR Think Remarkable by Guy Kawasaki. Your choice! // Psst! You can always catch up throughout the month, too.
Voxer
So, if you don’t have it, get the app here. The direct link to our group is in the Facebook group and in the prompt below.
Reminder: Let’s give this a few weeks and see how it feels. If it turns out that this platform isn’t the right fit, we’ll adjust. The most important thing is that we keep showing up for ourselves and our words.
Our Next Speakeasy
If you’re a paid member, you should’ve gotten the calendar invite for March 1 from 10:30am-12pm MST. If you didn’t see it, lemme know.
If you’re not a paid member, but wanna see what it’s all about, you can “drop in” to one call any time and give it a whirl. Just send me a note!
THE FORMAT:
This time around, let’s unplug the mic, move away from the stage, and gather at that table over there behind the curtain. Let’s just…talk. Just us. We’ll go around the circle and share our progress or struggles, and as each person speaks, we’ll cheer them on or dig in with them.
I’ll also ask for your hot takes on Voxer, the prompt formats, etc. With that, let’s play a drinking game: Any time I say, “give it to me straight,” “thanks for your patience,” or “this is all new” take a swig of coffee. 😛
OK. Let’s finally get to it!!
